  • Modeled Studies Contain No Data

    Hi Jack,

You are right that we do not specifically say that data will not be copied over in any of our documentation, including the training manual, online help, and forums section of the website. We state that you can "create a study using an existing study or components of an existing study as a template." We felt that "template" would indicate that only the structure is copied, not the data. I can modify my training manual and add a post to the forums that explicitly states that data is not copied when you model a study.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to update our documents.
    Best regards,
    Ronni Rubenstein

Subject: Modeled Studies Contain No Data?

Hi! In the DM Training Guide, it isn't clear that a modeled study will not copy over the patient data from the source study.

We had a client express concern in an audit finding that there was no documentation that test data was not carried over into a production environment.

Is there any ClinPlus documentation that makes that explicit?

    Thanks!
    -Jack
