Hi Tom,
You cannot change the Caps default on the screen design to No. But a possible solution, if you have similar screens that you reuse, is to copy the screens from one study to another or set up a library study with common screens / data sets.

Subject: Caps as a Default
Greg,
The default for all character fields CAPS is yes. Is there a way to change this default to no? We always enter character fields in upper/lower case and it’s a little tedious to change every field definition CAPS to no. So I wondered if there is a way to change the default or to globally change all character fields?
Thanks,
Tom
