  • Listings using date range

    If you want, use the datestamp field to subset a date or date range when looking at any of the audit trail logs.

    datepart(datestamp) = '11APR06'd

    ….will return all of the records with changes on April 11, 2006.

    You could also craft a more complex where, such as:

    datepart(datestamp) >= '01jan06'd and datepart(datestamp) <= '28feb06'd

    … which will return all of the records between Jan 1, 2006 and Feb 28, 2006.

    If you need to get more specific let me know. You can also add in the time, if need be. You can use this in conjunction with the selection boxes in the listing window.

    You can always use the Where option in Listings to generate a list of records for one patient.

    Investigatornumber=”001” AND patientnumber=”1001”

    Subject: Audit Trail

    Good morning -

    I have been asked by Software Compliance if there is a better way to view, save, and/or print the audit trail when it is necessary to review. More specifically, is there a canned report that will produce the audit trail on a per patient basis? Or by a specific date?

    Currently, we produce the listing, save it, and we have to spend a lot of time searching through the audit trail to find where a record was entered, verified, and/or deleted. If you have any additional help, I would greatly appreciate it!
