MedDRA 19.0 Build Error
With the release of the MedDRA 19.0 dictionary it was found that an error may occur when building the dictionary using the SQL Server MedDRA build script in ClinPlus Coding v3.x. The error is thrown on the bulk import process when reading the file ‘intl_ord.asc’ found in the MedAscii folder. The file is not formatted as usual, missing the line feed character following the last record in the file.

How to correct this issue
To correct this issue you simply need to add the line feed at the bottom of the file.
1. Locate the file intl_ord.asc in the MedDRA 19.0 MedASCII folder where you have extracted the files to.
2. Open the file in any text editor – (Notepad will work) – do not use MS Word or any other word processing programs.
3. Place your cursor at the end of the last line
4. Hit then enter key to insert a line. Do not enter any other characters or spaces.
5. Save the file overwriting the original
6. Rebuild the dictionary
